Italy is keeping me VERY busy. Since I have joined the local female football team I have been busy almost every night. Last night (wednesday) was the first night since I joined that I had free. My roommate dyed my hair a brighter red and everyone seems to like this color the best so I now know what to buy when I have to do touch ups. Otherwise things are good. I am trying to become a studious student but find it difficult since all I want to do is explore Italy and all it has to offer. I am trying to make plans for my 10 day break and the few weekends I have available before I have to come home. I arrive back in Michigan on December 11th. I am trying to see if I can get all the places I want to see in so I don't have to try and extend my ticket. I know that I will definately want to come back to Italy some day. It is simply a gorgeous country and I can't get enough. Living here is not something I want to do though. I have been very home sick lately since it has been close to a month I have been in Italy already. I arrived on September 3rd and it is now September 29th. Time is going by rather fast though and I feel I am becoming more comfortable with either A. simply not knowing what everyone is saying or B. understanding what people are saying but not knowing the words to respond. I am definately making a lot of friends. Even though I have branched off on my own and am trying desperately to imerse myself in the culture and language people in the program with me still call me a lot and see if I want to go out with them. I enjoy hanging out with the various groups but there seems to be too much drama when close to the whole group gets together. I definately want to keep it as small of a group as possible when I go out with them. I am happy that I finally got my debit card thing all straigntened out. Now I don't have to worry about rationing my money and making sure I have enough. I have journaling class in like 5 minutes so I am going to have to say arrivaderci (see you later).
